House Rules
Welcome to our beautiful rental in Mauritius! We’re thrilled to have you as our guest and hope you have a wonderful, relaxing stay. To make sure everything goes smoothly, we ask that you review and follow these house rules.
1. Check-In and Check-Out
• Check-In: Any time after 3:00 PM. Early check-in may be possible upon request.
• Check-Out: By 11:00 AM. Late check-out may be arranged depending on availability.
• Self-Check-In: We offer a keyless entry for your convenience. Details will be provided prior to arrival.
2. Occupancy Limits
• Our rental accommodates a maximum of 6 guests (2 per room). Please avoid additional overnight visitors unless previously arranged with us.
3. Pool Use and Safety
• Pool Hours: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM.
• Supervision Required: Guests must always supervise children in the pool area. The pool is unsupervised, and safety is paramount.
• No Glassware: For safety, please use the provided plastic cups and dishes around the pool.
• Towels: Please use the designated pool towels and avoid using bath towels outdoors.
4. Air Conditioning Use
• Energy Conservation: Kindly switch off the air conditioning when you leave the room to help us conserve energy by removing the card in the walls when in the lodges.
• Windows and Doors: Please keep windows and doors closed when the air conditioning is on to ensure optimal cooling.
5. Quiet Hours
• To respect our neighbours, we ask that you keep noise to a minimum between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
• Parties or large gatherings are not permitted without prior approval.
6. Smoking Policy
• Non-Smoking Indoors: Smoking is prohibited inside the house.
• Outdoor Smoking Area: If you wish to smoke, please do so in designated outdoor areas and dispose of cigarette butts responsibly.
7. Pets
• We love animals, but to maintain our property, no pets are allowed on the premises.
8. Kitchen (Lodges only)
• Guests have a fully equipped kitchen. We ask that you please clean up after use and remove bins as insects do exist in our country.
• Food Storage: Please store all food in the refrigerator to avoid attracting insects.
9. Maintenance and Breakages
• If any issues arise (e.g., malfunctioning equipment, damage, etc.), please notify us immediately so we can address it as soon as possible.
• Breakages: We understand that accidents happen, so please let us know of any breakages. Any damage beyond normal wear and tear may be subject to a replacement fee.
10. Waste Disposal
• Recycling: We encourage recycling! Separate bins are provided for recycling and general waste.
• Bins: Please place any rubbish in the designated area by the entrance gates. You will find it in the corner of the garden. Collection occurs on Wednesdays.
11. Sand & Salt
• Please rinse off any sand and salt before bringing them back into the property.
12. Respect the Property and Neighbours
• We ask that you treat the property as if it were your own. Respect our neighbours, and please avoid any disruptive behaviour.
